File requirements
Automated estimating currently uses STL files. You can upload an STL directly or a ZIP containing one or more STL models. Other model formats can still be sent to CKG² for manual review through the contact page.
For the best result, models should be correctly scaled, manifold, and free from unintended internal geometry.
Open meshes, thin walls, unsupported geometry, oversized models, invalid normals, unusually detailed surfaces, and anything that may require a manual production review.

PLA, PETG, and TPU each bring different strengths. Start with how the part will be used, and we’ll help match the material.
Material guide
Great for detailed parts that need a clean finish without extra durability requirements.
A tougher option for functional parts that may see moisture, handling, or more demanding everyday use.
Designed for parts that need bend, grip, cushioning, or impact resistance rather than rigid structure.
| Material | Best for | Main qualities | Considerations |
|---|---|---|---|
| PLA | Displays, classroom tools, organizers, prototypes | Crisp detail, economical, broad colour range | Lower heat resistance |
| PETG | Functional parts, tools, durable products | Strong, moisture-resistant, practical | Slightly softer detail than PLA |
| TPU | Grips, protectors, flexible components | Flexible, resilient, impact absorbing | Longer print time, focused colour range |
Colour options
Available colours depend on material and current stock. Choose your preferred colour in the quote builder and we’ll confirm availability before production.

Terms for quotes, custom manufacturing, 3D printing, products, and orders from CKG² Industries.
Last updated: September 4, 2026
Automated website pricing is an estimate only. A quote becomes the confirmed price only after CKG² Industries reviews the job and issues a final quote or invoice. Unless otherwise stated, a quote may be revised if the requested scope, quantity, material, finish, shipping requirements, supplied file, or other material order details change.
A customer accepts an order by accepting the final quote, paying when payment is required, or otherwise authorizing CKG² Industries to begin work. Any government-imposed taxes that CKG² Industries is legally required to collect will be shown separately when applicable.
By uploading or supplying a file, image, drawing, model, logo, text, or other content, the customer confirms that they own it or have sufficient permission, licence, or authority for CKG² Industries to use it to manufacture the requested order. The customer is responsible for checking the applicable licence and any restrictions on commercial or third-party manufacturing.
CKG² Industries does not claim ownership of customer-supplied design files merely because they are submitted for manufacturing. We may decline work where ownership, permission, legality, safety, or intended use is unclear.
3D printing is a layered manufacturing process. Minor variation in dimensions, colour, layer appearance, seam location, surface finish, support marks, texture, or other cosmetic characteristics can occur. Exact tolerances depend on geometry, material, orientation, process settings, and part size. A cosmetic or dimensional variation within a reasonable manufacturing range is not automatically a defect.
If a specific dimension, fit, tolerance, finish, colour match, or performance requirement is critical, tell us before approving the quote so it can be reviewed and documented.
Unless CKG² Industries expressly agrees otherwise in writing, products and custom prints are not certified or represented for medical, life-safety, structural, load-bearing, food-contact, electrical-safety, pressure-containing, aviation, or other regulated or safety-critical use. The customer is responsible for determining whether the product is suitable for its intended application and for carrying out any testing, inspection, approvals, or professional review appropriate to that use.
Quoted production or delivery dates are estimates unless expressly identified as guaranteed. Production may be affected by file issues, design changes, material availability, equipment downtime, reprints, shipping carriers, weather, or other circumstances outside reasonable control. If a required date matters, it should be stated before the order is accepted.
Custom, personalized, or made-to-order products may have limited cancellation or return options once production has begun because they are manufactured specifically for the customer. If CKG² Industries makes the wrong item, materially departs from the approved specification, or supplies a defective product, contact us promptly so we can assess a repair, reprint, replacement, or other appropriate remedy.
Nothing in these Terms limits a consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be waived. See our Returns & Cancellations Policy for more detail.
Shipping charges, when required, are confirmed before payment. The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Risk associated with a carrier delay, loss, or damage will be handled according to the selected carrier service and the circumstances of the shipment. See our Shipping & Pickup Policy.
For uploaded print orders, CKG² Industries stores the original customer upload and the selected production file privately for up to 90 days to support review and manufacturing. Files may be deleted sooner where appropriate or after the retention period. Quote and order records may be retained longer for business, accounting, customer-service, fraud-prevention, or legal purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
To the extent permitted by law, CKG² Industries is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from a product or service. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, any limitation applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada, subject to any mandatory consumer rights or jurisdiction rules that apply.
Questions about an order or these Terms can be sent through the CKG² Industries contact page.

How CKG² Industries handles customer information and uploaded manufacturing files.
Last updated: September 4, 2026
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, company or school, billing or shipping address, quote and order details, customer messages, uploaded 3D files, selected production files, and information needed to provide customer support.
Payment card information is processed through our payment provider rather than stored directly by CKG² Industries. We may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, amount, and other payment-related records needed to administer an order.
We use personal information to prepare quotes, communicate with customers, manufacture and fulfil orders, arrange pickup or shipping, process payments, provide support, maintain business records, protect against misuse or fraud, and improve our services.
For quote requests involving uploaded 3D files, we preserve the original upload and the selected production file in private storage for up to 90 days. This allows us to review, manufacture, troubleshoot, and support the order. Customer files are not intended for public access and are not sold or redistributed by CKG² Industries.
We use service providers to operate parts of the business, such as website hosting, backend hosting, database and file storage, email delivery, and payment processing. Information is shared with these providers only as reasonably necessary to provide those functions and is subject to their respective contractual and privacy protections.
Uploaded manufacturing files are generally retained for up to 90 days. Quote, invoice, payment, order, customer-service, and accounting records may be retained longer where reasonably necessary for business, tax, legal, security, warranty, or dispute-resolution purposes.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, but customer manufacturing files are configured for private rather than public storage.
You may contact us to ask about personal information we hold about you, request a correction where appropriate, or raise a privacy concern. Certain records may need to be retained where required or permitted by law. Use our contact page and identify the request as a privacy request.
We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, legal requirements, or service providers change. The current version and its last-updated date will be posted here.

A practical policy for custom manufacturing, made-to-order products, and standard products.
Last updated: September 4, 2026
Because custom, personalized, and made-to-order products are produced specifically for the customer, please request any cancellation as soon as possible. If production has not started, we will normally try to cancel or revise the order. Once design work, setup, material commitment, or manufacturing has begun, some or all charges may no longer be refundable, subject to applicable law.
If you have a problem with a non-custom stocked product, contact us promptly with the order reference and a description or photo of the issue. Return eligibility and the appropriate remedy depend on the item’s condition, the reason for return, and applicable law.
If CKG² Industries manufactures the wrong item, materially departs from the approved specification, or supplies a defective product, contact us promptly. We may request photos, measurements, or return of the item so we can assess the issue. Depending on the circumstances, an appropriate remedy may include repair, reprint, replacement, credit, or refund.
We are not responsible for a product failing to meet an unstated requirement or for an error inherent in a customer-supplied design that was manufactured as approved. If we identify an obvious manufacturing concern before production, we will try to raise it during review, but customers remain responsible for design suitability and intended use.
This policy does not remove cancellation, refund, or other consumer rights that apply under British Columbia or other applicable law. Certain online or distance-sales contracts can carry statutory cancellation rights in specific circumstances.
Use the contact page and include your quote or order reference, the issue, and any useful photos or measurements.

How fulfillment is quoted and handled for CKG² Industries orders.
Last updated: September 4, 2026
Local pickup is available by arrangement in Squamish, British Columbia. Wait for the ready-for-pickup confirmation before travelling to collect an order.
When shipping is requested, the destination and service are reviewed before the final quote or invoice is accepted and paid. The confirmed shipping amount is shown separately so the customer can see the total cost before payment.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Contact us immediately if an address needs to change. An address may not be changeable after a shipment has been handed to the carrier.
Production timing and carrier transit time are separate. Any quoted production date or delivery estimate is an estimate unless we expressly state otherwise. Carrier delays can occur after an order leaves CKG² Industries.
If a shipment arrives damaged, keep the packaging and contact us promptly with photos of the item and packaging. For missing or delayed shipments, we may work with the carrier according to the service used. Carrier investigation timelines and coverage can vary.
We currently quote shipping within Canada where practical. Some oversized, unusually fragile, remote-destination, or otherwise difficult shipments may require a custom arrangement or may be declined.
